Comparative Study of the Effect of Two Extraction Solvents on Polyphenols Content and Antioxidant Activity of Alstonia Boonei Bark

Oxidative stress (OS) is the imbalance between generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and body's antioxidant defenses in favor ROS. ROS are chemical that can be neutralized by natural phytochemicals like phenolic compounds present medicinal plants whose extraction depends on solvent system used. Thus, study aimed to evaluate effect two solvents polyphenols content activity Alstonia boonei barks.
